Roles & Responsibilities

• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments to keep every appointment safe and smooth
• Assist the dental hygienist and dentist during patient cleanings, exams, and procedures
• Welcome patients warmly and help them feel comfortable before and during treatment
• Maintain accurate patient records, charting, and documentation
• Keep supplies stocked and organized so the clinical team can focus on care
• Follow infection control, safety, and office protocols with attention to detail

Qualifications

• Dental assisting or hygiene assistant training is preferred
• Current CPR/BLS certification is a plus
• Virginia dental assistant credentials or relevant dental experience is helpful
• Experience in a dental office or clinical setting is preferred
• Strong communication skills and a patient-first attitude
• Ability to adapt quickly in a per diem, call-off coverage role
