Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality care to critically ill patients in the ICU
• Monitor hemodynamic status, ventilator settings, and continuous cardiac rhythms
• Administer medications, titrate drips, and manage complex treatment plans
• Collaborate with intensivists, respiratory therapists, and multidisciplinary teams
• Assess and respond to rapid changes in patient condition with confidence
• Document care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients and families during stressful critical care journeys

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications
• ICU or critical care nursing experience
• Ability to complete Prime Core Competencies and specialty exams
• Current COVID-19 vaccination and required health screenings
• Strong critical thinking and rapid response skills
• Commitment to patient safety and excellent care
