Shift Type: Flexible as needed, shifts may include days, evenings, and weekends

Candidate Pay Rate: $31 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Prepare the operating room for surgical procedures, ensuring all instruments and supplies are sterile and ready
Assist surgeons during operations by passing instruments and maintaining a sterile field
Monitor and manage surgical equipment and supplies throughout procedures
Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure patient safety and positive outcomes
Perform post-operative cleaning and restocking of the OR

Qualifications

Certified Surgical Technologist (CST) required
Current BLS certification from the American Heart Association
Minimum 1 year of experience in a surgical setting preferred
Strong attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Excellent communication and teamwork skills

Education

Associate degree in Surgical Technology from an accredited program required

Knowledge & Skills

Thorough understanding of sterile techniques and infection control
Knowledge of surgical instruments and equipment
Ability to anticipate surgeon needs during procedures
Strong problem-solving skills in high-pressure situations
Physical stamina to stand for long periods
