Location: Dayton, Ohio
Start Date: 07-17-2026
Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Flexible scheduling, 10.5-hour shifts as needed
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $39 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare operating rooms and ensure sterile equipment and supplies are ready for surgery
- Assist surgeons during procedures by passing instruments and anticipating needs
- Maintain a sterile field and adhere to infection control protocols
- Manage surgical instruments and inventory
- Collaborate with the surgical team to ensure high-quality patient care
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited surgical technology program
- Current CPR certification (BLS)
- Excellent communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and handle physical demands of the role
Education
- Graduate of an accredited Surgical Technology program
Knowledge & Skills
- Knowledge of surgical procedures and sterile techniques
- Skill in handling surgical instruments and equipment
- Attention to detail and ability to work under pressure
- Strong organizational skills
