Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, varied start times for 8-hour, 10-hour, or 12-hour shifts with block scheduling available

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $61 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Assist surgeons during cardiac, vascular, thoracic, and robotic procedures in the CVOR
Prepare and maintain sterile fields while anticipating the needs of the surgical team
Collaborate with RNs and physicians during both open and minimally invasive cases
Support cath lab procedures and provide standby assistance for vascular cases
Float to Main OR when needed and contribute to a seamless patient experience
Participate in call rotation covering evenings, nights, and weekends

Qualifications

Active Washington state license required
Current BLS certification
Robotics experience preferred but not required - training provided
Scrub experience preferred for RNs but not mandatory
Ability to respond to call within 30 minutes

Knowledge & Skills

Strong understanding of cardiac, vascular, and thoracic procedures
Familiarity with EPIC EMR system
Comfort working in a fast-paced environment with 22-45 cases daily
Willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies including the Da Vinci XI robot
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
