Shift Type: Monday-Wednesday, 11:00 AM - 11:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $34 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Decontaminate and sterilize medical instruments and equipment following strict protocols
Assemble and prepare surgical instrument trays for upcoming procedures
Maintain inventory of sterile supplies and ensure proper storage
Ensure compliance with AAMI, OSHA, and infection control standards
Inspect instruments for damage and functionality
Collaborate with surgical teams to ensure readiness and timely delivery of sterile items

Qualifications

Current BLS certification required
Certified Sterile Processing Technician (CRCST, CSPDT, or equivalent preferred)
Ability to pass Trinity competency testing and skills checklist
Completion of health screening including 10-panel drug screen, color vision test, and physical
Up-to-date vaccinations including COVID-19, MMR, Hepatitis B, Influenza, and TB test
Strong attention to detail and commitment to patient safety

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of sterilization techniques and infection control practices
Familiarity with surgical instruments and tray assembly
Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
Excellent organizational and time management skills
Proficiency with inventory management systems
