Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered care to stepdown patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms and vital signs
• Administer medications, treatments, and IV therapies
• Collaborate with physicians, therapists, and the interdisciplinary team
• Educate patients and families on recovery plans and health management
• Respond quickly to changes in patient condition and emergencies
• Document care accurately in the electronic health record

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Kansas or compact state
• Current BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications
• Stepdown, progressive care, or telemetry experience preferred
• DCI/BVP certification a plus
• Strong critical thinking and communication skills
• Ability to work night shifts and adapt to a PRN schedule
