Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Day shift, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM, Monday-Friday

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $77 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform comprehensive speech and language assessments for neuro, trauma, and post-intubation patients
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans for stroke, TBI, Parkinson's, and other conditions
Conduct cognitive evaluations for home safety and discharge planning
Provide dysphagia management and swallow studies
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to optimize patient outcomes

Qualifications

Active Speech Therapist license in the state of Nebraska
American Heart Association BLS for Healthcare Providers (BCLS) certification
ASHA certification (Certificate of Clinical Competence in SLP)
Experience in neuro rehabilitation, trauma rehab, and cognitive evaluation preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Neuro rehabilitation expertise
Cognitive evaluation and home safety assessment
Swallow studies and dysphagia management
Trauma rehab and post-intubation care
Strong communication and collaboration skills
