Shift Type: Monday-Friday, Day shift (school hours)

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide speech-language therapy services to K-12 students
Conduct assessments to identify communication disorders
Develop and implement individualized treatment plans
Collaborate with teachers, parents, and school staff
Document student progress and maintain compliance with IEP goals

Qualifications

Active Alaska Speech-Language Pathology license required
ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
Experience in school setting is a plus
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work collaboratively in a multidisciplinary team

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of speech and language disorders and interventions
Familiarity with IEP process and documentation
Excellent organizational and time management abilities
Adaptability to work with diverse student populations
Proficiency with assessment tools and data collection
