Roles & Responsibilities

• Screen, evaluate, and rehabilitate patients with communication, cognitive, or swallowing disorders
• Develop individualized plans of care using evidence-based practices and standardized assessments
• Track patient progress and adjust treatments to maximize outcomes
• Provide education and counseling to patients, families, and caregivers
• Collaborate with supervisors and interdisciplinary team members on treatment plans
• Complete thorough documentation and discharge summaries per regulatory standards
• Coordinate necessary DME and supplies for patient care needs
• Supervise and support CFY or student Speech-Language Pathologists

Qualifications

• Active Missouri state SLP license required
• CCC-certified Speech-Language Pathologist required
• 1 year of SLP experience required; new grads welcome with Level II fieldwork experience
• LTC or Rehab experience required
• 3 years holding active CCS certification preferred
• Strong commitment to ASHA ethics and state practice standards
