Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess speech, language, cognitive-communication and swallowing function using evidence-based tools
• Develop individualized treatment plans that set clear, measurable goals
• Deliver engaging, patient-centered therapy for a diverse caseload
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to coordinate holistic care
• Maintain accurate, timely documentation in the electronic medical record
• Educate patients, families and caregivers to support carryover and progress
• Participate in discharge planning and continuity of care efforts
• Contribute to quality improvement initiatives and uphold clinic standards

Qualifications

• Active California Speech-Language Pathology license or eligibility to obtain state licensure
• ASHA Certificate of Clinical Competence (CCC-SLP) preferred
• Experience evaluating and treating speech, language and swallowing disorders
• Strong clinical reasoning and documentation skills
• Ability to work collaboratively with interdisciplinary teams and adapt to varied settings
• Current professional liability insurance (if required by client) and ability to complete credentialing

Education

• Master's degree in Speech-Language Pathology or related field required

Knowledge & Skills

• Skilled in assessment and treatment planning for pediatric and adult populations
• Knowledge of dysphagia evaluation and management
• Proficient in evidence-based therapeutic approaches and progress measurement
• Comfortable with electronic medical record documentation and telehealth as needed
• Excellent communication, organization and time-management skills
• Cultural sensitivity and ability to engage patients and families
