Sonographer – UHC Staffing

Sonographer

Location: Durango, Colorado

Start Date: 06-15-2026

End Date: 09-14-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 4 days per week, 10-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM or 7:30 AM - 6:00 PM, variable days

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform high-quality ultrasound imaging including general, vascular, and procedural studies
Collaborate with radiologists to deliver accurate diagnostic results
Maintain patient comfort and safety during all imaging procedures
Document findings thoroughly in Fuji EPIC system
Support the radiology team with drains and biopsies as needed

Qualifications

Current RVT certification with strong vascular experience required
RDMS certification required; RDCS is a plus
BLS certification required
Minimum 1 year of ultrasound experience preferred
Ability to work 4x10 variable day shifts plus call rotation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Phillips ultrasound equipment
Experience with Fuji EPIC EMR and PACS
Skilled in general, vascular, and procedural imaging
Strong attention to detail and patient care
Comfortable working independently with radiologist support
