Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to patients on the Progressive Care Unit
• Administer non-vesicant chemotherapy and monitor patients for adverse reactions
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to develop and implement patient care plans
• Perform comprehensive assessments and document patient progress
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and self-care
• Maintain a safe and supportive environment for patients and staff

Qualifications

• Current BLS certification
• Current ACLS certification
• Oncology experience preferred
• Willingness to complete ONS Chemotherapy and Biotherapy course
• Valid Michigan RN license or compact license

Knowledge & Skills

• Chemotherapy administration
• Oncology patient care
• Progressive care unit monitoring
• Patient assessment and documentation
• BLS and ACLS protocols
