Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM, NOC, 36 hours/week, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac telemetry and respond to changes in patient condition
Administer medications and treatments as ordered by physicians
Collaborate with interdisciplinary team to provide comprehensive patient care
Educate patients and families on treatment plans and discharge instructions
Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately
Maintain a safe and healing environment for every patient

Qualifications

Active RN license in Connecticut (or compact state)
BLS and ACLS certifications required (must be current)
Minimum 1 year of recent Med-Surg/Telemetry experience
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Telemetry interpretation and arrhythmia recognition
Patient assessment and care planning
Medication administration and IV therapy
Electronic health record (EHR) proficiency
Team collaboration and patient advocacy
