Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and cardiac patients
• Monitor and interpret cardiac rhythms, promptly identifying and responding to changes
• Administer medications and treatments with precision and safety
• Collaborate with physicians and the healthcare team to develop and adjust individualized care plans
• Educate patients and their families on health management, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document patient assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately in the EHR

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Connecticut
• BLS and ACLS certifications required
• Previous experience in med-surg or cardiac nursing preferred
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment

• Cardiac rhythm interpretation and monitoring
• Medication administration and IV therapy
• Patient assessment and care planning
• Electronic health record (EHR) charting
• Strong communication and interdisciplinary collaboration
