Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality nursing care to critically ill ICU patients
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, adjusting treatment plans as needed
• Administer medications, IV therapies, and advanced life support
• Collaborate with physicians, specialists, and the healthcare team to optimize outcomes
• Educate patients and their families about care plans and recovery
• Respond swiftly to emergencies and code situations

Qualifications

• Current RN license in Iowa (or compact state eligibility)
• Certifications required: BLS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS
• Experience in ICU or critical care setting (preferred)
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts and rotate weekends/holidays
• Commitment to patient safety and quality care

Knowledge & Skills

• Strong critical thinking and clinical judgment
• Expertise in patient assessment and hemodynamic monitoring
• Proficiency with ventilators and life-support equipment
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills
• Ability to stay calm under pressure
