Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 PM - 6:30 AM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate emergency care to patients of all ages in a fast-paced ER setting
Triage patients and prioritize care based on severity of condition
Administer medications, IV therapies, and emergency interventions
Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary teams to deliver optimal outcomes
Document patient assessments, interventions, and responses accurately
Maintain a calm, organized environment during high-stress situations

Qualifications

Active RN license in Illinois or compact state (NLC)
Minimum 1 year of recent ER experience preferred
BLS, PALS, ACLS, TNCC, and NIHSS certifications required
Ability to pass a drug screen and background check
Strong critical thinking and communication skills

Knowledge & Skills

Emergency nursing protocols and triage systems
Advanced cardiac life support and pediatric resuscitation
Trauma nursing and injury assessment
Patient monitoring and crisis intervention
