Location: Salt Lake City, Utah

Start Date: 04-05-2026

End Date: 07-05-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating day shifts: Monday-Friday 7:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 8:00 AM - 4:30 PM, or 11:30 AM - 8:00 PM, with 1 weekend a month and on call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Perform complete transthoracic echocardiograms (TTE) with full reports in under an hour, delivering critical insights for patient care
Conduct treadmill stress echoes and dobutamine stress echoes to assess heart function under stress
Execute transesophageal echocardiograms (TEE) for detailed cardiac imaging
Collaborate with the echo team using state-of-the-art GE E95 equipment and EPIC EMR
Contribute to a dynamic 7-tech team, making real impact in a 317-bed hospital

Qualifications

2+ years of experience as an Echo Tech or Sonographer
Hold active RDCS or RCS certification
Current BLS certification
Ability to complete full echo reports efficiently

Education

Completion of accredited ultrasound technology or cardiovascular sonography program

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in TTE, stress echoes, and TEE procedures
Proficiency with GE E95 ultrasound systems
Strong documentation skills in EPIC EMR
Preferred: TEE experience, stress echo expertise, and pediatric echo background
