Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM with rotating every 3 to 4 weekends

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $49 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver hands-on physical therapy to post-open heart, TAVR, and LVAD patients, helping them regain strength and independence
Collaborate closely with experienced PTs, hospitalists, and RNs using iMobile for seamless communication
Provide acute care rehab across floors 1-3 in a supportive 72-bed heart hospital environment
Prioritize patient safety and coordinate high-level care in a fast-paced cardiac setting

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in Texas
At least 1 year of experience, especially in acute care
Acute care experience including ICU/CCU since you may be the solo PT on weekends

Education

Knowledge & Skills

Strong acute care background with ICU/CCU comfort
Wound care skills are a fantastic plus
Excellent time management and independent attendance
High coordination and communication abilities
Friendly, caring approach with respect for patients, staff, and managers
