Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional care to high-acuity patients in spinal neuro trauma and surgical cases
Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including nursing support techs and phlebotomists
Manage patient ratios of 5:1 while ensuring top-notch handoffs from ED and admitting
Handle complex cases like gunshots, quads, and paraplegics with confidence and compassion

Qualifications

Minimum 2 years experience in surgery trauma or high-acuity floor
Active BLS certification required, ACLS preferred
Proficiency with EPIC electronic health records
Willingness to work assigned shifts with no block scheduling or RTO

Education

RN licensure required

Knowledge & Skills

Expertise in high-acuity trauma and surgical nursing
Strong EPIC system navigation
BLS and ACLS skills for emergency response
Patient handoff protocols and team collaboration
