Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:30 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional respiratory care to patients across various units
Administer respiratory therapies and monitor patient responses
Manage and maintain ventilators and other respiratory equipment
Collaborate with physicians and nurses to develop care plans
Educate patients and families on respiratory conditions and treatments
Respond to respiratory emergencies and code situations

Qualifications

Current BLS (AHA) certification
Current ACLS (AHA) certification
Valid Connecticut Respiratory Therapist license (or compact if applicable)
At least 1 year of recent acute care respiratory therapy experience
Strong communication and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency in mechanical ventilation management
Knowledge of airway management techniques
Ability to interpret arterial blood gases
Skilled in patient assessment and monitoring
Experience with electronic health records
