Shift Type: Day shift, 7:00 AM - 7:30 PM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide respiratory therapy to patients including oxygen administration, aerosol treatments, and ventilator management
Monitor patient responses and adjust therapy plans in collaboration with physicians
Perform diagnostic tests such as arterial blood gas analysis and pulmonary function tests
Educate patients and families on respiratory care techniques and disease management
Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with safety protocols

Qualifications

Valid Respiratory Therapist license in Connecticut
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Minimum 1 year of experience as a Respiratory Therapist preferred

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of respiratory therapy equipment and procedures
Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced clinical environment
