Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 6:00 AM - 7:00 PM, every other weekend and every other holiday

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $58 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Administer respiratory therapy treatments and medications to patients
Monitor patient vital signs and adjust ventilator settings as needed
Educate patients and families on respiratory care and home equipment
Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and implement care plans
Maintain accurate and timely patient records and documentation

Qualifications

Valid state license as a Respiratory Therapist in Iowa
Current BLS and ACLS certifications from AHA
Previous experience in acute care or hospital setting preferred
Ability to work 13-hour shifts including weekends and holidays

Knowledge & Skills

Knowledge of respiratory therapy procedures, equipment, and protocols
Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative team
