Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate, high-quality respiratory care to adult, pediatric and neonatal critical care patients
Administer respiratory therapies and advanced interventions per unit protocols
Assess patients and adjust treatment plans in collaboration with the care team
Operate and troubleshoot ventilators and respiratory support equipment safely
Document patient care and communicate changes to the multidisciplinary team
Train and mentor respiratory therapy personnel across critical care areas

Qualifications

Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) — required
Current Oklahoma State Respiratory License — required
Clinical experience in critical care settings (adult, pediatric, neonatal) preferred
Strong communication skills and ability to train and lead RT staff
Ability to follow state Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision requirements

Education

Education and training as required by the Oklahoma State Board of Medical Licensure and Supervision (meets RRT requirements)

Knowledge & Skills

Clinical expertise in ventilator management and respiratory support
Skilled in ABG interpretation and respiratory assessment
Comfortable working in high-acuity critical care environments
Ability to teach, mentor and provide constructive feedback to colleagues
Familiarity with critical care protocols and patient safety best practices
