Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, person-centered nursing care to every patient/resident you serve.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and inform individualized care plans.
• Administer medications and treatments accurately while monitoring for response and adverse reactions.
• Document observations, interventions, and outcomes clearly and quickly.
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans, medications, and discharge instructions.
• Supervise and support nursing assistants and licensed practical nurses to ensure quality care delivery.
• Act quickly and confidently when patient conditions change, communicating concerns to the care team.
• Maintain a safe, clean, and healing environment by following infection control protocols.

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification required
• Previous experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation is a plus
• Strong assessment, critical thinking, and clinical judgment skills
• Comfort working independently during overnight shifts
• Excellent communication skills with patients, families, and team members

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of nursing standards, patient safety, and infection control practices
• Comfort using electronic health records (EHR) for accurate charting
• Ability to prioritize care and stay calm under pressure
• Compassionate bedside manner with a focus on patient advocacy
• Team-oriented mindset and willingness to lend a hand where needed
