Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, high-quality dental hygiene care to patients during the shift
• Perform cleanings, periodontal therapy, and preventive treatments with precision and care
• Take and develop dental x-rays as directed by the dentist
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and post-visit care
• Maintain a clean, sterile, and organized operatory following infection control standards
• Document patient care accurately and partner with the dental team to ensure a positive experience

Qualifications

• Active Dental Hygienist license in Pennsylvania
• Current CPR/BLS certification
• Strong clinical skills and attention to patient comfort
• Ability to provide excellent care in a fast-paced dental practice
• Reliable, punctual, and ready to step in for call-off coverage

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficiency in dental cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Knowledge of digital radiography and dental practice management software
• Understanding of OSHA and infection control standards
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to multitask while maintaining a warm, welcoming chairside manner
