Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
• Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and within your scope of practice
• Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responding promptly
• Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families
• Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and facility policies

Qualifications

• Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required
• Current BLS/CPR certification required
• Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
• Must be comfortable working a per diem evening shift schedule
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient care

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid clinical nursing skills including medication administration and resident assessment
• Ability to prioritize care and respond to changing patient needs with composure
• Proficiency with electronic health records and basic medical equipment
• Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
• Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care
• Team collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude
