Licensed Practical Nurse / Registered Nurse - Per Diem

Contract Type: Per-Diem
Shift Type: Friday, September 4, 2026, Shift 2: 3:00 PM - 11:30 PM
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $33 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Deliver compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing facility
- Administer medications and treatments per physician orders and within your scope of practice
- Monitor and assess patient conditions, documenting changes and responding promptly
- Collaborate with the interdisciplinary team to develop and update individualized care plans
- Provide education and emotional support to residents and their families
- Maintain a safe environment by following infection control protocols and facility policies
Qualifications
- Current and active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Pennsylvania required
- Current BLS/CPR certification required
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or geriatrics is a plus
- Must be comfortable working a per diem evening shift schedule
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills with a genuine passion for patient care
Knowledge & Skills
- Solid clinical nursing skills including medication administration and resident assessment
- Ability to prioritize care and respond to changing patient needs with composure
- Proficiency with electronic health records and basic medical equipment
- Excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities
- Knowledge of state and federal regulations governing long-term care
- Team collaboration skills and a positive, can-do attitude
