Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide compassionate, patient-centered nursing care to residents and patients.
• Administer medications and treatments as ordered, with strict attention to safety and accuracy.
• Assess patients, monitor vital signs, and report any changes in condition quickly.
• Work alongside LPNs, RNs, CNAs, and providers to create personalized care plans.
• Educate patients and families on treatments, medications, and health management.
• Keep accurate documentation and maintain a clean, safe care environment.

Qualifications

• Current, active LPN or RN license in Maryland
• Current BLS/CPR certification
• COVID-19 vaccination or documented medical/religious exemption
• Ability to pass facility background checks and credentialing
• Prior long-term care or skilled nursing experience preferred
• Strong assessment, communication, and teamwork skills

Knowledge & Skills

• Clinical knowledge of nursing best practices and safety protocols
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach
• Comfortable using electronic health records and medication administration systems
• Ability to work independently and adapt quickly to new units
• Understanding of HIPAA and infection control standards
