Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide outstanding preventive dental care, including cleanings, scaling, and root planing
• Take and review digital X-rays to aid in diagnosis and treatment planning
• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques and personalized preventive care
• Partner with the dentist to deliver comprehensive treatment in a compassionate way
• Maintain a sterile, organized operatory and adhere to infection control standards
• Document patient care accurately and keep every visit efficient and comfortable

Qualifications

• Active Pennsylvania Dental Hygienist license is required
• Current CPR/BLS certification is required
• Local anesthesia certification is a plus if applicable in your practice
• Clinical dental hygiene experience and a gentle touch are preferred
• Warm, professional communication skills and a patient-first mindset

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of periodontal therapy, dental radiography, and preventive care
• Experience with dental practice management software and digital imaging
• Strong infection control and OSHA knowledge
• Excellent interpersonal skills for educating patients and collaborating with the team
• Ability to work efficiently while providing a calm, positive experience for every patient
