Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate, patient-centered care to medical-surgical and telemetry patients
• Monitor vital signs, cardiac rhythms, and patient status, responding quickly to changes
• Administer medications, IV therapy, and treatments as prescribed
• Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and update individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families about conditions, medications, and discharge instructions
• Document assessments, interventions, and outcomes accurately and efficiently

Qualifications

• Current California Registered Nurse (RN) license in good standing
• BLS certification from the American Heart Association
• Prior experience in med-surg or telemetry nursing is preferred but not required
• Ability to work 12-hour night shifts in a fast-paced hospital environment
• Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills are essential

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid understanding of medical-surgical and telemetry nursing standards
• Comfort using electronic health records and cardiac monitoring equipment
• Ability to prioritize and manage multiple patients with varying acuity
• Excellent communication and teamwork skills to collaborate with colleagues and patients
• Compassionate approach to patient education and family support
