Roles & Responsibilities

• Implement personalized therapy interventions following each patient's occupational therapy plan of care
• Document patient progress with accuracy and timeliness to support continuity of care
• Educate patients and their families to empower them in the recovery journey
• Communicate clearly with the supervising Occupational Therapist about patient status and progress
• Follow all safety, infection control, and compliance protocols to protect patients and staff

Qualifications

• Completion of an accredited Occupational Therapy Assistant program
• Active South Carolina COTA license or ability to obtain one before starting
• A passion for patient care and strong teamwork skills
• Ability to build rapport with diverse patients and their families
