Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide chairside assistance to the orthodontist during braces, aligners, and other orthodontic procedures
• Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments to keep every patient safe
• Take and process dental X-rays and images as needed
• Help patients feel comfortable and informed from check-in to checkout
• Educate patients on caring for braces, retainers, and aligners at home
• Keep accurate patient records and support the flow of the clinic

Qualifications

• Certified Dental Assistant or current Dental Assistant Certification - required
• Orthodontic assisting experience is a must - you're comfortable chairside
• Radiography certification for taking dental X-rays
• CPR/BLS certification is strongly preferred
• A friendly, patient-focused attitude and strong communication skills

• Ability to multitask and anticipate the orthodontist's needs
