Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate nursing care to residents in a skilled nursing and rehabilitation center
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and safely
- Assess residents and communicate changes in condition to the care team
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and support staff to create individualized care plans
- Document patient care thoroughly in accordance with facility policies
- Support residents and families with empathy and clear communication
Qualifications
- Active Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Registered Nurse (RN) license in Maryland
- Current BLS/CPR certification
- Experience in long-term care, skilled nursing, or rehabilitation is preferred
- Must meet facility compliance requirements including COVID-19 vaccination or approved exemption
- Ability to work per diem shifts with reliable attendance
Knowledge & Skills
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
- Proficient in medication administration and electronic documentation
- Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
- Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care
- Ability to adapt quickly in a fast-paced healthcare environment
