Roles & Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for orthodontic treatment and help them feel comfortable and informed
- Assist the dentist or orthodontist with braces, Invisalign, and other orthodontic procedures
- Sterilize and organize instruments and operatories to keep every visit safe and smooth
- Take and review patient records, radiographs, and treatment notes as needed
- Educate patients on caring for braces, aligners, and overall dental health
- Support the dental team by anticipating needs and maintaining an efficient workflow
Qualifications
- Fully knowledgeable in orthodontics, specifically braces and Invisalign
- Dental assisting training, certification, or comparable hands-on experience
- Strong patient communication skills with a caring, professional approach
- Ability to work efficiently during the assigned 11:00 AM to 8:00 PM shift
Knowledge & Skills
- Specialized understanding of orthodontic treatments including braces and Invisalign
- Chairside assisting and patient preparation skills
- Knowledge of dental terminology, sterilization techniques, and infection control
- Comfort using dental records systems and taking dental images
