Roles & Responsibilities

• Assist the pediatric dentist during a wide range of dental procedures, keeping treatment areas organized and efficient
• Prepare exam rooms and sterilize instruments to ensure the highest safety standards
• Take and develop dental X-rays with care and precision
• Make young patients feel at ease with a warm, friendly chairside manner
• Educate families on proper oral hygiene and aftercare routines
• Maintain accurate patient records and assist with scheduling and room turnover

Qualifications

• Certified or registered Dental Assistant, or willing to complete Wisconsin state requirements
• Current CPR/BLS certification is preferred
• Prior experience in pediatric or family dentistry is a plus
• Ability to thrive in a busy clinical environment with a positive, adaptable approach

Knowledge & Skills

• Solid knowledge of dental instruments, sterilization protocols, and infection control
• Sharp skills in taking digital X-rays and documenting patient care
• Great communication skills for connecting with children and parents
• Detail-oriented and able to keep multiple treatment rooms moving smoothly
• A proactive helper who enjoys being part of a collaborative dental team
