Roles & Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, and implement specialized wound care for patients with acute and chronic wounds
• Collaborate with the multidisciplinary team to develop individualized care plans
• Educate patients and families on wound management and prevention
• Monitor and document wound healing progress, adjusting care as needed
• Ensure compliance with infection control protocols and best practices

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in California
• Minimum 2 years of experience in wound care
• BLS certification required
• Experience with Cerner charting system preferred

Knowledge & Skills

• Expertise in wound assessment and evidence-based treatment
• Strong understanding of infection control protocols
• Excellent communication and patient education skills
• Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced acute care setting
