Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients on a Medical Cardiac Telemetry unit
• Monitor telemetry and interpret cardiac rhythms, documenting strips per shift
• Administer and titrate drips such as Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem
• Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to ensure seamless care
• Manage high-flow oxygen and BiPAP for patients needing respiratory support
• Utilize EPIC charting system to maintain accurate patient records

Qualifications

• Active RN license in Tennessee or compact state
• 2+ years of experience in Medical Cardiac Nursing
• Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
• BSN not required, but a passion for cardiac care is a must

Knowledge & Skills

• Telemetry monitoring and rhythm interpretation
• Drip titration and IV medication administration
• EPIC charting system proficiency
• High-flow oxygen therapy and BiPAP equipment
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
