MRI Technologist
Location: Little Rock, AR
Start Date: 09-21-2026
End Date: 12-21-2026
Contract Type: Contract
Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM (5x8s or 4x10s), with call rotation one week every 3 weeks and every 3rd weekend
Hours per Week: 40
Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Perform high-quality MRI, MRA, and MRCP exams with precision and care
- Start IVs and administer contrast as needed for imaging studies
- Operate GE and Siemens MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images
- Collaborate with radiologists and the healthcare team to ensure accurate results
- Maintain a safe, comfortable environment for patients during scans
- Document procedures accurately in Cerner and MERGE PACS as you transition to EPIC
Qualifications
- Active ARRT certification with MRI specialty (ARRT MR) required
- Current Arkansas State License as an MRI Technologist required
- BLS certification from AHA required, or must obtain prior to start
- At least 2 years of hands-on MRI experience preferred
- Experience starting IVs is a must-have for this role
Knowledge & Skills
- Proficient with MRI, MRA, and MRCP imaging protocols
- Comfortable with GE and Siemens scanner platforms
- Skilled in IV insertion and contrast administration
- Familiarity with Cerner EMR and MERGE PACS, with EPIC transition coming soon
- Knowledge of cardiac MRI techniques is a plus
- Strong patient care and communication skills
