Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide expert nursing care to patients on a 32-bed Telemetry/Neuro unit
• Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret telemetry strips for early detection of changes
• Titrate critical drips including Amiodarone, Heparin, Insulin, and Cardizem
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive care for cardiac, stroke, and seizure patients
• Perform thorough neurological assessments and intervene promptly
• Support patient education and involve families in care plans
• Document accurately in EPIC and maintain compliance with hospital protocols

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact license accepted)
• 2+ years of recent telemetry or neuro nursing experience
• Current BLS (AHA) and ACLS certifications
• Must-have experience in neurological care
• Ability to read and interpret cardiac strips independently

Knowledge & Skills

• Proficient in telemetry monitoring and cardiac rhythm interpretation
• Skilled in drip titration for cardiac medications
• Familiarity with EPIC charting system
• Strong assessment and critical thinking skills
• Comfortable with virtual telemetry monitoring and GE monitors
• Knowledge of High Flow and BiPAP troubleshooting basics
