Roles & Responsibilities

• Provide exceptional nursing care to patients with colorectal conditions and post-surgical needs
• Monitor telemetry and interpret EKG strips to ensure patient stability
• Titrate IV drips such as heparin, amiodarone, insulin, and Cardizem with precision
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to develop and implement care plans
• Educate patients and families on treatment plans and recovery processes
• Float to other units as needed to support the hospital team
• Maintain accurate documentation in EPIC charting system

Qualifications

• Active RN license (or compact state license)
• BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA required)
• Minimum 2 years of medical-surgical nursing experience
• Experience with telemetry monitoring and EKG interpretation
• Comfortable titrating multiple IV drips
• EPIC charting experience preferred but not required
• A compassionate heart and a team-player attitude!
