Contract Type: Travel Contract
Shift Type: Night shift, 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend (EOW)
Hours per Week: 48
Candidate Pay Rate: $62 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities
- Provide compassionate, high-quality care to patients on a Medical Cardiac Telemetry unit
- Monitor cardiac rhythms and interpret ECG strips, taking action when needed
- Titrate critical drips like Amiodarone, Heparin, and Insulin with confidence
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to develop and adjust care plans
- Respond quickly to changes in patient conditions, including respiratory support needs
- Empower patients and families with education about their cardiac health
Qualifications
- Active RN license in Tennessee or a compact state license
- At least 2 years of experience in medical cardiac care
- Current BLS and ACLS certifications (AHA)
- Comfortable with telemetry monitoring and drip titration
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Willingness to float and support other units as needed
Knowledge & Skills
- Skilled in telemetry monitoring and ECG interpretation
- Confident titrating Amiodarone, Heparin, Cardizem, and Insulin
- Familiar with EPIC electronic health records
- Understanding of cardiac conditions such as CHF
- Ability to troubleshoot respiratory equipment like High Flow and BiPAP
- Excellent critical thinking and assessment skills
