Roles & Responsibilities

• Deliver compassionate telemetry nursing care to patients with cardiac monitoring needs
• Monitor vital signs, rhythms, and changes in condition with a keen clinical eye
• Administer medications, treatments, and interventions according to care plans
• Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and allied staff to coordinate patient care
• Educate patients and families on cardiac health, medications, and lifestyle adjustments
• Document assessments and care accurately in the electronic medical record
• Respond quickly and calmly to emergent situations and changing patient needs

Qualifications

• Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Illinois
• Current BLS, ACLS, NIHSS, and DCI/BVP certifications
• Telemetry nursing experience preferred
• Ability to meet compliance requirements before and after start date
• Willingness to attend required orientation
• Strong communication skills and a team-first mindset
• Commitment to delivering safe, high-quality patient care
• Ability to work 12-hour day shifts on a per diem basis
