Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM, every other weekend

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate life-saving drips with confidence
Provide expert care for adults and geriatrics facing cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes challenges
Continuously observe EEG readings to catch subtle changes early
Collaborate with a dynamic interdisciplinary team to deliver seamless patient care
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab when needed, broadening your clinical skills
Champion a positive, problem-solving attitude that keeps the unit running smoothly

Qualifications

Active RN license in Nebraska or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of recent PCU or telemetry experience preferred
Strong critical-thinking and communication skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and drip titration expertise
EEG monitoring proficiency
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced 1:4-5 ratio environment
Comfort floating across units and adapting quickly
Open-book exam readiness during orientation
