Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts with every other weekend requirement (Saturday-Sunday days, Friday-Saturday nights)

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $80 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert care for mothers and babies throughout labor, delivery, recovery, and postpartum
Attend deliveries independently and circulate during C-sections with confidence
Assist with catching babies and transitioning newborns to ensure safe, healthy starts
Titrate critical drips including Magnesium, Pitocin, and Insulin to support high-risk pregnancies
Monitor fetal heart patterns and respond quickly to changes in patient condition
Collaborate with in-house OB/GYNs, neonatologists, and anesthesia providers for seamless care
Support families through high-risk situations including preeclampsia, diabetes, and substance use challenges

Qualifications

Active RN license in Washington or compact license
BLS, ACLS, and NRP certifications required
Intermediate or advanced Fetal Heart Monitoring preferred
Minimum 2 years of LDRP experience (1 year considered with strong travel history)
Comfortable attending deliveries independently and circulating C-sections
No first-time travelers

Knowledge & Skills

LDRP nursing expertise with ability to handle 33+ week high-risk pregnancies
Strong fetal monitoring and strip interpretation skills
Experience with Centricity perinatal EFM system
Ability to function across labor, delivery, postpartum, and newborn care
Excellent communication and adaptability to unit workflows
