Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM or 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM, schedules released 4-6 weeks in advance

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide compassionate care across multiple PCU/IMC specialties including cardiac, neuro, oncology, and trauma
Manage and titrate cardiac drips, insulin, heparin, and ativan with confidence and precision
Float throughout Zone 1 facilities to support patient care needs and fill scheduling gaps
Collaborate with charge nurses and interdisciplinary teams to deliver exceptional patient outcomes
Monitor adult and geriatric patients with diverse diagnoses from post-surgical to stable long-term placements

Qualifications

Active RN license in Colorado or compact state
BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum 2 years of PCU/IMC experience
Comfortable titrating cardiac drips, insulin, and heparin
Epic experience preferred, neuro experience a plus

Knowledge & Skills

Strong cardiac drip management and titration skills
Ability to float across multiple specialties and facilities within a 60-mile zone
Excellent communication and adaptability in fast-paced environments
Experience with insulin, ativan, and heparin protocols
Comfort working with adult and geriatric populations across varied diagnoses
