Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 7:00 AM - 7:00 PM and 7:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $60 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver compassionate, high-quality care to neuro, CVA, pulmonary, and general telemetry patients
Monitor and interpret EKGs with confidence using centralized telemetry
Collaborate with hospitalists, charge nurses, and PCTs to ensure seamless patient outcomes
Support patients on Airvo/High Flow therapy and manage complex cardiopulmonary needs
Provide thorough assessments and timely interventions on a 26-bed specialty unit

Qualifications

Active RN license in Arizona or compact state
Minimum 2 years of recent telemetry or neuro experience within the past 6 months
Current BLS and ACLS certifications required
Successful completion of Prophecy Dysrhythmia Exam (2 attempts maximum)
Ability to pass a hands-on Sim Lab on day one of orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Strong EKG interpretation and dysrhythmia recognition
Comfortable with centralized telemetry monitoring
Experience with neuro and cardiopulmonary patient populations
Excellent communication and teamwork skills
Proficient with Airvo/High Flow oxygen therapy
