Contract Type: Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 8:30 AM - 5:00 PM with varied start times including 9:00 AM - 5:30 PM, 9:30 AM - 6:00 PM, or 10:30 AM - 7:00 PM; may require a Saturday or Sunday depending on weekend needs

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $63 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional physical therapy care across acute inpatient units including MedSurg, Telemetry, ICU, Oncology, and Cardiology
Provide specialized treatment for ventilated patients and post-operative total joint replacements
Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create individualized rehab plans
Support patients through every stage of recovery with evidence-based interventions
Document efficiently using Cerner EMR to ensure seamless care coordination

Qualifications

Active Physical Therapist license in California
Current BLS certification
Minimum 2 years of acute care physical therapy experience
Strong background in ortho, total joints, ICU, and ventilated patient care
Comfortable working with diverse patient populations including MedSurg, Oncology, and Cardiology

Knowledge & Skills

Cerner EMR documentation
Acute care physical therapy across multiple specialties
Ventilator patient management
Post-surgical orthopedic rehabilitation
Cardiac surgery patient care
