Location: Grand Island, Nebraska

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Monday-Friday, 6:30 AM - 3:00 PM with 1 night per week on call, every 5th or 6th weekend on call, and rotating holiday call

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $71 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Provide expert circulating and scrub support across all surgical service lines
Collaborate closely with surgeons and the OR team to ensure safe, efficient procedures
Adapt quickly to varied daily case schedules in a fast-paced environment
Float to Pre/Post Op, PACU, or ER trauma cases when needed
Maintain strict adherence to infection control and patient safety standards
Mentor and educate fellow staff while fostering a positive team culture

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS and ACLS certifications
Strong experience in Neurosurgery and all major surgical service lines
Comfortable working in a facility without specialized teams
Valid driver's license required at time of submittal
Willingness to comply with artificial nail policy
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Proficiency with EPIC electronic medical record
Experience with Da Vinci Robotics and multiple surgical specialties
Strong adaptability to changing daily OR schedules
Excellent teamwork and communication abilities
Commitment to patient safety and infection prevention
