Location: Merced, California

Start Date: 06-22-2026

End Date: 09-21-2026

Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: 8-hour shifts, Monday-Friday, with potential for 10-hour schedules; weekend coverage may include Wednesday-Saturday or Sunday-Wednesday rotations

Hours per Week: 40

Candidate Pay Rate: $59 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Deliver exceptional outpatient therapy services across PT, OT, and ST disciplines
Provide compassionate care to diverse patient populations from pediatrics to geriatrics
Collaborate with an experienced therapy team to create individualized treatment plans
Support patients through orthopedic, neurological, and pulmonary rehabilitation journeys
Contribute to early mobility programs and stroke-certified care initiatives

Qualifications

Current California PT, OT, or ST license required
BLS certification
Experience with Cerner EMR preferred
Strong clinical skills across inpatient and outpatient settings
Geriatric and pediatric experience valued for ST candidates

Knowledge & Skills

Proficient with Cerner electronic medical records
Skilled in outpatient hand therapy and pediatric speech therapy
Knowledge of stroke care protocols and early mobility programs
Comfortable floating between inpatient, outpatient, and home health settings
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
