Contract Type: Travel Contract

Shift Type: Rotating 12-hour shifts, 6:30 AM - 7:00 PM and 6:30 PM - 7:00 AM

Hours per Week: 36

Candidate Pay Rate: $64 per hour

Roles & Responsibilities

Monitor cardiac rhythms and titrate drips including Cardizem and beta blockers
Provide continuous EEG monitoring for adult and geriatric patients
Deliver compassionate care to patients with cardiac, nephrology, stroke, and diabetes diagnoses
Collaborate with charge nurses and patient care techs to maintain safe 1:4-5 ratios
Float to medical floors, ICU, or rehab units as needed while maintaining excellent care standards
Apply critical thinking and problem-solving skills in a fast-paced environment

Qualifications

Active RN license with BLS, ACLS, and NIHSS certifications required
Minimum one year of PCU experience preferred
Strong cardiac monitoring and drip titration skills
Valid driver's license for radius verification
Ability to pass open-book skills exam with 90% or higher during orientation

Knowledge & Skills

Cardiac monitoring and arrhythmia recognition
Safe drip titration techniques
Continuous EEG monitoring interpretation
Excellent communication and teamwork abilities
Critical thinking and quick problem-solving skills
Positive attitude and willingness to support colleagues
